Another Little Avery...{Bethany Beach, Delaware baby photography}

I knew that I would adore this little girl even before we met. First, she has three very handsome little cousins who I photographed this past year...talk about having good connections, lol! Next, her parents were so relaxed and easy to work with that I knew we'd have fun capturing images of their little miracle. But my affection for her was cinched when her parents told me her name....Avery. That's the name of my first born son and I'm really partial to it obviously. Yes, there's another little Avery in the world. Couldn't help calling her by name while we were photographing her. My Avery is a 6 ft tall teenager now {sigh}...but this little Avery is a little doll baby at 2 weeks old and about 7 lbs...petite and precious ;o) Yes, this little Avery will go far with that name...I just have a feeling ;o)

Adorable Lucy is sitting up now and such a delight! We had a lot of fun recreating some images that we did with her big sister only a few short years ago and then we played with a few fall props. Those big brown eyes couldn't have been a more perfect match to the scene!

Fun at the Delaware State Fair (Bethany Beach fine art photographer)

Summertime here in Delaware means more than days spent on the beach. Farming is a tradition that our little state was founded on long before we drew visitors to our beautiful coast. Every summer I take my kids to the Delaware State Fair to see the farm animals and to experience the simple joys that those animals provide. They are always fascinated by what we see and do there. Our favorites?...I can't say that we have just one. We always love the chicks, the horses, and the cows among others. There is beauty to be found in so many places. I think we found a little here.

I am really excited that I was able to photograph this little beauty and to create this portrait for her family. Thankfully we were able to "convince" her that she was willing too! Doesn't she look so sweet all cuddled up like she is rocking to sleep in the treetop for the night? Go ahead, sing the lullabye...you know the words...no one is listening ;o)

I recently had the pleasure of photographing beautiful Baby "M". Isn't she adorable? That brand new perfect newborn skin....ahhhh.... and all snuggled up...this must be why they say little ones "sleep like a baby" although the mommies of newborns will tell that these moments are fleeting and sometimes forgotten... I'm grateful to have the honor of capturing these memories for her fabulous family to enjoy as she grows!
